Boat Scuba Diving

Boat diving, practised at Havelock and Neil Island, is a far more adventurous way to dive. Shortly after a briefing about equipment and safety, you would then board a boat and be taken to deeper and more exciting dive sites. This type of dive, therefore, applies to both beginners with basic swimming skills and experienced divers.

How many days are required to Do Scuba Diving in Andaman?

Now, if you are a beginner and want to experience diving for fun then half a day is enough to complete your diving. Make sure your slot is booked in advance. The above diving programs for Non-Swimmers or Beginners will be completed in half a day. However, if you are looking into going for advanced courses then a minimum of 4 days to 30 days may be required just to complete the course.

What if I am coming with Kids, how do I dive?

If you are joined by children, it will be necessary to alternate turns during the diving activity. If there is available room, the child may join the boat during boat diving.

– PADI Open Water Course:

This course extends over a duration of 4 days. Any person with the desire to do wonders in diving should opt for this course. An initial stage which integrates both practical and theoretical learning prepares you to accept challenges located in different parts of the world.

– Advanced Open Water Course:

More advanced training after being certified; expand your diving knowledge. Go down deeper dive sites and gain further certifications like Emergency First Responder or PADI Rescue Diver to make a career in diving.

– Neil Island:

For beginners and intro divers, the best place is Bharatpur Beach. The serene area offers lots of shallow diving, hence attracting many newbies.

For Certified Divers:

– Sites of Havelock Island:

Watch the exciting websites of New Barracuda City, Junction, and Johnny’s Gorge located at 25-30 meters, 25-35 meters, and 25-30 meters depth, respectively. The site is popular for hosting a great variety of underwater fauna and dramatic landscapes.

– Neil Island Sites:

Dive through popular sites like Junction and K Rock; depth ranges between 25-30 meters and 12-19 meters, respectively. The two noted sites have vividly been given these titles, mainly due to their colourful underwater environment and unique underwater features.
